Colton is from Colorado Springs, Colorado. He earned his undergraduate degree from Creighton University in Economics. He is active in The Exoneration Project and the American Constitution Society.

Colton spent the 2024 summer working at the Public Defender’s office in Omaha, Nebraska. His favorite hobbies include playing the guitar, reading and learning new languages on Duolingo. Some fun facts about Colton are that he was a Taco Bell taste tester and has delivered food to Billionaire Warren Buffet on several occasions.
