Batul is from Zionsville, IN, and received her Bachelors in Urban Planning and Development from Ball State University. Aside from JLEG, she serves as President of Vis Moot and Membership Chair for the Real Estate Law Society. Batul spent her 2L summer working as a summer associate at Locke Lord LLP.

Outside of law school, she loves cooking new recipes and collecting random antiques. A fun fact about her is that she spent her childhood summers at her grandmother’s village in Hyderabad, India, and plans to go back and visit soon.
